I hope you are excited about this dessert as I am! How cute are they?! This recipe is so easy and fun to make too! Just don’t squeeze the orange juice into your eye … that hurts. Get ready for some fun Halloween treats. You know what else is exciting about this dessert? I shared the recipe for it on Sarah Ballantyne’s blog, The Paleo Mom!!
These carved oranges aren’t just for fun and Halloween spirit either. They taste pretty fantastic (or so all of my taste testers say since I am allergic to chocolate). The filling is a nut-free, egg-free chocolate orange sweet potato brownie that you bake right into the orange peel. Brownies were a big deal in my house growing up, and my sister said that these taste just like the ones my mom would make! I’ll leave you with some more pictures to enjoy, and link to the recipe at the bottom of the page!
Oh and you can enjoy these anytime, because they are just as delicious when baked as a normal ole’ tray of brownies.
